
Interstellar Dorset is delighted to offer Trauma & Neurodiversity training delivered by Christiane Sanderson on Wednesday 11th February 9:30am-4pm in Poundbury, Dorchester. This training explores the connection between trauma and neurodiversity, helping practitioners recognise neurodiverse traits and provide sensitive, inclusive support. The training fee is £175 per delegate; lunch and refreshments are provided.
Christiane Sanderson is an experienced psychologist, lecturer and trainer in psychology and counselling and trauma, with a particular interest in child sexual abuse, sexual violence, domestic abuse and complex trauma. Her particular area of interest is child abuse, specifically child sexual abuse and sibling sexual abuse, the impact of traumatisation on victims of abuse or violence in interpersonal relationships, domestic abuse and rape, as well as the impact of secondary traumatic stress on professionals, and shame. She has designed and delivered training to both statutory and voluntary sectors as well training organisations.
Christiane has recently set up her own company Compassionate Psychological Therapy and Training Ltd which offers psychological support and training.
Christiane has presented papers at a range of national and international conferences and is an experienced Radio and TV broadcaster. She is on the board of a trustees at the charity One in Four. She has published numerous books on child sexual abuse, domestic abuse, complex trauma and shame.
