STARS launches Sky Dive challenge for 2025.

In 2022, Eighteen sky divers took to the skies at Go Sky Dive in Salisbury and raised a whopping £12,860 for us! We are so grateful and are planning to run another event in 2025.  If you are interested in joining us, please do let us know via info@starsdorset.org

It is the most we have ever had jumping and the most we have ever had raised for us, however, in 2025 we are hoping to break the record. Our team consisted of staff members, volunteers, supporters and members of the general public. Our sky divers either completed the tandem jump of 10,000ft or 15,000ft enabling everyone to have a full minute of freefall time.

Each jumper smashed their fundraising target and so together raised such an outstanding amount of money.  The charities co-ordinator at the time said “I wanted to take on a challenge that would push me out of my comfort zone. I was really scared at the though of jumping out of a perfectly good plane, however it was a awesome experience and would definitely advise anyone to do it”.

All the services STARS Dorset offers such as its ISVA (independent Sexual Violence Advisor), Counselling and Group services are free and donations from the public help maintain their provision. Last year STARS Dorset supported more than 2000 people across the county.
