Cordoba Rewards hosted their bi-annual Charity Golf Day on Thursday 23rd April at Donnington Valley in Newbury to raise funds for STARS Dorset as our corporate partner.

The event was attended by 72 golfers and joined by our Engagement Team Leader Steph Lee, who shared with the attendees the work that we do supporting, advocating, and raising awareness and why it matters.

A fantastic £2,500 was raised through a raffle and auction — enough to cover the cost of providing five specialist counselling rooms for 25 days! — and we couldn’t be more grateful for the generosity and effort of everyone who took part.

Due to the stigma sadly still surrounding our sector, it’s rare that we receive support from corporate donors, so a huge thank you to the team at Cordoba for naming us as their Charity of the Year and to all of the Charity Golf Day participants.
